ELECTRICIAN LEAD
Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dedicated Electrician Lead in the Baytown area. In this high-impact role you will be responsible for providing shop-level leadership, keeping critical production machinery running smoothly, and working directly with the plant manager to track preventative maintenance schedules. In an Electrician Lead job you’ll be responsible for:
Repairing electro-mechanical machinery—production, cutting, packaging, etc.
Mentoring and directing one junior team member on daily shop tasks
Managing inventory tracking, leading parts procurement, and connecting with vendors for orders
Tracking preventative maintenance to minimize emergency downtime
Coordinating and overseeing specialized external technicians
Handling light building maintenance, as needed
What you’ll need:
Hands-on electrical troubleshooting experience within a machine shop, wood shop, or manufacturing environment
Strong ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints
Demonstrated ability to lead and guide a teammate on the floor
High personal accountability and a "get the job done" mindset
Strict commitment to safety protocols (no cutting corners)

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $35.00/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hours per day (6A-3P)
