Job Description
Spherion Staffing is hiring an experienced Weld Supervisor for a machine shop in Wichita Falls, TX. The Welding Supervisor directs daily welding operations, acting as the crucial bridge between shop-floor welders and upper management. They ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, while maintaining high quality through rigorous inspections and adherence to company quality expectations. Working hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
Responsibilities: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to work in environments with heat, noise, and welding fumes
Knowledge of algebra, geometry very beneficial
- Welding school diploma desirable
Qualifications:- Previous supervisor/ lead responsibilities
- Certified Welding Supervisor or Certified Welding Inspector credentials
- Deep understanding of welding processes
